Loyal to Local

Some of you may know that we’ve been working alongside #workwife, From 6th, on a new store! One of the blog features that was really important to have was shining the spotlight on some of our favorite local spots. This week we visited some of the stores we frequent and one of our favorite local restaurants. If you haven’t hopped over to the From 6th Collective site, please do so! Comment, subscribe, show The Collective some love!

Roseberry is one of my favorite little shops on 6th Street. Their Southwestern style is right up my alley! The owners, Dirk + David, have a wonderfully curated spot full of items from local artists with a mix of vintage decor. I love seeing vendors who got their start inside The NAT grow into something even more amazing!

If you aren’t already, give Roseberry a follow on Instagram! Make sure and stop by the next time you’re on 6th! Make sure and say hello to their dogs who are frequently behind the front desk.

The pottery and artwork remind me so much of my childhood. My childhood home was full of hand made clay dishes and painting from my mom’s artist friends. I may have brought home one of these birdies for myself (see above). I think nostalgia is a great reason to purchase a few knick-knacks here and there!
